Taken flat and doubled where noted. Allow ±1.5cm: these are the manufacturer's tolerances, and we publish their real numbers rather than the rounded ones on their chart.
Measure a garment you already own and like, not your body. It is the only comparison that has ever predicted fit reliably.
Lay a garment you already like flat, measure straight across one centimetre below the armhole, and double it. Match that number to the table — it predicts fit far better than measuring your body does.
From the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. Our blanks run long, and this is usually the number that surprises people.
Seam to seam across the back. On the dropped-shoulder pieces this sits well past the end of your actual shoulder, and it is meant to.
Measured flat across the waistband and doubled, with the elastic relaxed. One unisex rise across every bottom we sell, so the number means the same thing on joggers and shorts.
Size down for a cleaner line, up for the way we shoot it. Every product page states the fit intent above the size grid — boxy, oversized or relaxed — because the same size behaves differently on a 6.0oz tee and on 8.5oz fleece.
Still unsure? Read why the blank is the decision, or just email us the measurements of a piece that fits.
